We at Simons Leather have always tried to be a little different; and now that we have closed the last of our High Street businesses we feel duty bound to offer that little bit more! We have consequently set up a “try before you buy” service for any of our longstanding or completely new local customers.
Our description of “local” encompasses much of Hampshire and Dorset either side of our traditional home in Bournemouth. In this way we are happy to take any chosen garment(s) to customers located between Portsmouth to the east and Dorchester to the west. Given certain circumstances the customer can choose from almost any of our listed garments, from our Website; and request that we bring them to their homes where they can try them on.
Any such arrangement is carried out by prior appointment and we would usually require between two or three days notice before-hand. The process will usually require us to transfer any specified number of jackets (at least one and no more than six) to our Customer Services base in Bournemouth. Any home appointment can be specified for either day or night-time and can also include the weekend.
Prior to finalising an appointment our Customer Services Agent will discuss the customer’s requirements (size, fit, colour, suitability) in full-using their 20 years of experience when selling such items. Any home visit is undertaken without prior obligation and if a decision is made to purchase, then, we will be happy to accept payment via cash, cheque or credit/debit card.
We also have the ability to use most of these “tried” garments as a form of template, if the customer prefers to have a “custom made” leather jacket specifically manufactured at a later date.
