Although the first signs of Spring have appeared and we seem to have seen the last of the “Arctic” Weather the demand for Leather Jackets continues. Despite a hefty rise in the cost of our raw materials we have managed to keep most of our prices frozen at pre-Christmas ’08 levels.Spanish and French Nappa Leathers have been badly affected by the Sterling Euro Exchand Rate which has meant that we have had to step-up our never-ending search for new high quality leathers. As the year rolls forward we will be bringing in more garments manufactured in a “silky semi-aniline finish”. This leather is very light in weight and has a particularly soft-touch (non-shiney) matt finish. Particularly successful with our in-store customers has been the SL1210-light-weight and modern design detail with a great fit.

Initial positive feed-back will mean a development of a range of both Ladies And Mens Leather Jackets featuring this type of leather in a range of colours (red, blue, aubergine, camel, brown, tan).

 

 We have just taken delivery of our first consignment of the New Spring/Summer Ciccia Handbag Collection. Once again Ruth Pinnock has designed a stunning range of handbags and matching purses promoting the “Cat” theme throughout. Once again, at the forefront of Ciccia are the Picture Bags. This time featuring such quirky subjects as Cats Playing By A Swing (SL9002); A Cat  Swimming In An Aquarium (SL9105); and A Cat Balancing On A Branch (SL9103)..

Other notable NEW CICCIA  FEATURES are the addition of the “Bumble-Bee”( SL9107)within the appliqué design detail of some of the bags and the extremely practical detachable shoulder strap ( SL9116)..

Another continued success story has been our range of Wassbring / Shepherd Sheepskinj Slippers. With demand constantly outstripping supply we have just taken delivery of the latest batch of slippers from Sweden. The Mule Style (SL6010) is now available in both ladies and mens sizes. Whilst the backed tradional men’s slipper is imminently available and back “in stock” due to popular demand.
